Brigitte Beraha – vocals Joe Webb – piano Huw V. Williams – double bass Brigitte was born in Milan and raised in Monaco growing up in a multilingual household. In London, she studied Music and Composition at Goldsmiths College and completed the prestigious Jazz Postgraduate course at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. "Vocally, she has much of the pure-toned, wide-ranging, faintly inscrutable serenity of Norma Winstone, and a little of Flora Purim's cool athleticism too." John Fordham.

Jazz Attic offers the chance for all budding musicians to ‘sit in’ with the talented house trio. All instruments and singers are welcome. Partikel have, since releasing their eponymous debut album in 2010, established themselves as a fresh and dynamic addition to the European Jazz scene. Influenced by African and Latin American music combined with the sound of contemporary New York jazz, Partikel produce a personal, committed and original take on the saxophone trio. They are promoting their 2nd album “Cohesion”.

A London based quartet with a unique sound and a repertoire of original music, their instrumentation of electric bass, EWI (Electric Wind Instrument), electric guitar and drums, gives them a contemporary jazz sound that grooves and surprises. And it’s the groove and melodies that open up their music to a wider audience. The individual band members are all respected musicians on the London and UK Jazz scene, both as Centre-Line and in their own right.

Special Guest Artist, Christian Krehbiel, direct from the USA, appears with Glen Manby's Chapter Arts Jazz Quartet. Cardiff jazz scene regulars Glen Manby (alto), Jim Barber(piano), Donnie 'Joe' Sweeney (dbl bass),and Greg Evans(drums) are pleased to welcome from Seattle, WA, USA special guest Vibraphonist, Christian Krehbiel. They will be playing a selection of Latin and Jazz standards from the Bebop era and beyond.

The Gareth Roberts Quintet have been playing together for many years and have built up a large following with their own, unique, exciting brand of Jazz. The Quentin Collins/Brandon Allen Quartet are embarching on a national tour to promote their debut album "What's it gonna be?". Collectively the band has performed with the likes of Eric Clapton, Tom Jones, Antonio Forcione, Soweto Kinch, Liane Carrol, Dennis Rollins, Paloma Faith, Omar, Maceo Parker plus many others. The group will be performing a selection of original material from their album plus new tunes! Expect a diverse set of hard bop and emotive jazz mixed with latin, groove and contemporary elements!
